We are starting a new workshop series for parents. This event is our first event in this series. Please register promptly to avoid disappointments.
  • What: Balancing Stress (parent workshop)
  • Why: It is a challenge to keep our children in the "Rat Race". Are your kids juggling between activities, school, and endless enrichment classes? How much time do the children actually have for themselves after all those classes and extra curricular activities? Is it causing more stress than fun for them? What do children think about all the things they do? Is playing and having pure fun important?

If you are baffled by all these questions and would like to learn to handle these issues efficiently please join us for this workshop.

  • Presenter: Mr. John Schroeder, GATE Specialist, FUSD.
  • When: Monday, October 22nd, 2012 at 7 pm
  • Reporting time: 6.30 pm
  • Ending time: 8.30 pm
  • Where: Brier Elementary, Multipurpose room
  • Who: Parents of 4th grader and above; MUST be a current TGIF member
  • Cost :Free for the TGIF members
  • Registration closes: 8pm, Saturday, October 20, 2012 (or earlier if we reach the capacity)

  • What to bring: Pen/ pencil, notepad (to take notes).
