Critical Thinking - I - Fall 2014

Critical thinking has been used for training people of all ages (professionals and students alike) to improve creativity, problem solving abilities, and “outside the box” thinking process. It is very useful for children to achieve academic excellence by helping them in many ways like innovating things and ideas, generating new suggestions, developing new concepts and solutions.   This course will introduce the concept of lateral thinking to students through a wide range of mathematical, conceptual, and logical problems. In the process, students will be learning a number of unusual techniques and methods such as the idea of alternatives, method of elimination, lateral thinking, etc.
